One of my favorite things as a photographer is when a client brings a classic idea, but adds their own twist. For Mellyssa’s maternity shoot, she wanted to keep it classy and minimalistic, but also deeply personal. Her idea? Projecting her baby’s first ever close-up, their ultrasound.
I had never worked with a projector before, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous. Balancing Mellyssa beautifully in the frame while keeping a clear shot of her baby’s ultrasound was a challenge, but I love when my clients push me creatively. Every time, it leads to magic.
