Five years ago, I was introduced to body casting by one of the most important people in my life.
An artist. A mentor. A dear friend.
I didn’t just watch the process.
I lived inside it.
For years, we worked side by side. I photographed body casting sessions, documented the process, and learned the craft from the inside out. I watched how bodies became art. How people changed the way they saw themselves when they saw their form turned into something permanent.
Over time, he chose to step away.
And I chose to continue.
Today, The Body Caster is me.

What Is Body Casting?
Body casting is the process of creating a timeless, sculptural form of your body. Not a replica. Not decoration. A permanent imprint of you.
It is intimate. It is grounding. And it is unlike anything else you will ever experience.
This is not about perfection. This is about presence.
The Body Casting Experience
Step 1: Consultation
We start with a conversation. We talk about the body part you want to cast, why it matters to you, and what this piece represents. We plan everything intentionally.
Step 2: Studio Session
You arrive at my studio. We slow down. We talk. We make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and fully informed before we begin.
Step 3: Preparation
Oil is applied to the body area being cast to protect your skin and prepare for the process.
Step 4: Casting
The casting material is applied directly to the body. It feels warm and calming as it sets.
The casting itself takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
This is a messy process. Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty.
Step 5: Removal & Transformation
Once the mold sets, it is carefully removed.
Your part is complete.
From here, the work becomes mine. Refining, strengthening, and transforming the cast into a lasting art piece.
