This whimsical flower studio session was colorful and fun and unique and all the wonderful things! I love capturing super out of the box (but still simple and clean) studio sessions like this. Letting the creativity flow, using fun props, not necessarily sticking with the status quo... I'm all about it.
My beautiful model, Kara, is actually a student of Berkley College of Music here in Boston, and a very talented singer, and she wanted these photos have a sort of Cinderella vibe (hence the colors) in order to celebrate and promote her new song "Happy Ever After?" which I will link here in case you want to give it a listen!
We wanted the floral theme to come across in a bunch of different and cool ways, hence her shoes and the vases and the blindfold. We also wanted the color palette to be soft and pastel and happy to juxtapose the mood of the model and the photos. That juxtaposition is one of my favorite concepts to utilize for sessions like these.
Keep an eye on my blog if you want to see more out of the box studio sessions!
