One of the best parts of being a photographer is getting to document my clients over time. Melissa is one of those amazing clients I’ve had the honor to work with more than once, and every session has been magical.
We first met for a personal branding shoot, where she absolutely rocked a chic, professional look that captured both her elegance and her drive. A little while later, she came back with a very different kind of shoot in mind, a boudoir session as a surprise gift for her soon-to-be husband. I wish I could share all the photos, but they’re a little too spicy for the blog. Here’s a sneak peek of one that made the safe-for-sharing cut. Trust me, the rest were stunning.
But the most fun? Their engagement session.
Melissa and her fiancé wanted to shoot in Boston, the city where they met, fell in love, and built the beginnings of their life together. They envisioned classic brick buildings, a little old-city charm, and a timeless, romantic vibe. We wandered cobblestone streets, posed on the at the T-Station, and just let the love shine through. It was one of those sessions that felt effortless.
It’s such a gift when clients trust me with their stories, from bold and intimate to sweet and sentimental. Melissa’s journey reminded me just how beautiful it is to capture every side of who someone is.
